At Mind+Motion, we believe that movement can be included as a positive element of improving disordered relationships with exercise and food.
Mind+Motion was created by Hannah Lewin- a qualified personal trainer with lived experience of an eating disorder who has worked on a 1-1 basis with clients with disordered relationships with exercise and food for many years. Having seen first-hand the positive impact that including movement can have on recovery and aware of the lack of available service provision, Hannah wanted to create a recovery tool that was easily accessible and with the guidance of clinical professionals, developed Mind+Motion.
The Mind+Motion programme focuses on reframing your relationship with exercise and rebuilding a connection with your body. Over six weeks members will have access to on-demand real-time movement sessions, thought-provoking worksheets that accompany the movement element and a supportive community forum.
Each movement session is suitable for all abilities and members are encouraged to complete each week at their own pace. No equipment is required (options are offered for those who have equipment) and sessions can be completed either at home or within a gym environment.
